Context

The decision register listed eighteen thin items: decisions that were open or assumed and had no owner answer. The owner answered all of them on 2026-10-21, and each answer is recorded here as an amendment to the page it changes. Where a thin item had no page to change, it is recorded in the decision below. The Agent Vault deferral (R12) is a supersession, so it has its own page, 0267.

Decision

  1. R1, code conventions. The code-conventions proposal is adopted. Its constant, utility, hook, context and no-inline-types rules are in force as 0128 decision 5 described them as assumed. The comment and JSDoc rules are decided on 0007, not here.
  2. R2, per-member documentation. Each member has a README and a generated API.md. A generated llms.txt is published. AGENTS.md stays within about 8,000 tokens.
  3. R3, identity. The identity service is a thin control plane over ZITADEL. Stackra builds no login UI. ZITADEL’s hosted sign-in pages are used, and ZITADEL’s own branding replaces the per-tenant login customisation of 0206 decision 7 and 0241 decision 6. The central login app of 0241 is not built.
  4. R4, tax. @stackra/tax is a port with a memory driver. The ZATCA and UAE tax rules are OS-only, and no Stackra package carries them. The category of @stackra/tax is assigned in its spec.
  5. R5, categories. The package categories of 0127 are confirmed as they stand.
  6. R6, DV2. Recorded outside Stackra. DV2 is a service-level decision of the private OS product, so no Stackra page changes.
  7. R7, manifest and member roots. app-manifest.json sits at the member root and is committed. .stackra/encore is not a workspace member. Gen writes infra.config.json.
  8. R8, documentation app. A documentation app imports only the ./contracts entries and the generated clients of the members it documents. It never imports module source.
  9. R9, AI risk. Read actions are low risk, write actions are medium, and delete, money, permission and bulk operations are high risk and require approval. These are AI exposure tiers. They are not the L0 to L4 action levels of 0099 decision 1, which are unchanged.
  10. R10, query.graph limits. The default page size per relation is 20 and the maximum is 100. Depth is at most 3, and fan-out is at most 1,000 rows per call.
  11. R11, versions and rendering. An old major version of a key@major stays supported for 12 months after its successor ships. There is no server rendering of L2 pages in v1.
  12. R12, Agent Vault. Deferred. Recorded in 0267.
  13. R13, client versions. First-party clients pin the newest dated version.
  14. R14, the linear field. Each member’s package.json linear field is { project }, and it names the member’s Linear project.
  15. R15, i18n. Messages use ICU syntax, and keys are typed.
  16. R16, conflicts. The storage package owns the conflict data. The experience package owns the UI that resolves it.
  17. R17, mobile modules. Mobile modules are compile-time. A product variant is a module that is compiled into the app, not a runtime plugin and not a separate app.
  18. R18, small utilities. The remaining small utilities are settled in spec clarification, not in ADRs. No page changes.

Consequences

  • A reader of any amended page sees the register answer in a note, with the same status it had before.
  • Two Proposed pages, 0059 and 0252, carry the R16 split. Their status is unchanged here.
  • The R6 decision and the R18 decision leave no Stackra page. A reader finds them in this list.

Enforcement

planned — no check is named for these answers yet. Each amended page carries its own Enforcement line, and the answers become checks only when those lines are filled in by a later change.

Supersedes and sources

Supersedes: none. Amends the pages listed in the note above. Sources: owner settlement in chat, 2026-10-21 (decision register items R1 to R18).
